You don’t need us to tell you that these are unprecedented times we’re living in. For some, it’s almost hard to remember what we talked about before our lives were dominated by the words coronavirus and Covid-19.

Some of you may be affected by the virus, or have family and friends who are ill. Our thoughts are with all of you. Where would we be without our brilliant, dedicated NHS workers – and also the supermarket staff, delivery drivers and other workers who are helping us all to keep going through this toughest of times.

Some of you may be on your own and all of us are having our freedom restricted. That can be hard and that’s where our social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter can provide you with a community to check in with. Look out for an increase in reads on our website, too, and if there’s anything you’d like us to cover, please let us know.

During times like these, little treats can really help to keep us going. Team Platinum is a small one, but this past couple of weeks have shown me how amazing they all are. They’re working harder than ever from home to make sure your issue of Platinum will still be on shop shelves and will be delivered to subscribers. It will have the same great reads and hopefully provide a little escapism for you. I know your feedback means a lot to them, so please do get in touch with us.

Remember you can subscribe to Platinum, too. A magazine subscription is a lovely ongoing treat and one I would definitely describe as a wise buy at the moment. I reckon having our latest issue delivered direct to your door could be classed as one of those little things to look forward to that will really help in the weeks ahead.

If there’s anything we can do to help in the coming weeks, please do let us know. In the meantime, stay safe, take care of yourself and remind yourself – there will be an end to this one day.
