Last night saw the premiere of the new series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here and it started with a bang.

As is tradition in the show, the celebrities don’t have much time to relax when they all meet each other, instead this year’s cast were quickly thrown into the scary ‘Walk the Plank’ challenge.

Before the challenge began, Ant warned the celebs that they were not in for an easy ride this season. He said, “This year is going to be tougher than ever, all the celebrities will face gruelling challenges on their way to the castle to win the keys to the Castle.”

There was a lot at stake in the challenge, not only did the winners get to choose who represented them in the next challenge, but they were also given keys to the main camp where they had food and a bed. The losers were banished to the Castle Clink and had only basic rations to eat.

There was also a complicated challenge involving snakes called Hell Holes and and the creepy crawly Turrets of Terror trial!
